VAN NUYS — The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and San Gabriel valleys through 8 a.m. Thursday morning as temperatures plummeted across Southern California. Temperatures as low as 32 degrees were forecast for communities across the three valleys, and the mercury in some locations could drop as low as 30, the NWS said. The rest of Southern California was just as cold. In Fullerton, a record low minimum temperature was reported Wednesday night.
