FAIRFIELD — Nikki Chindavong of Rodriguez High School tied for 10th overall Monday with a round of 76 at the California Interscholastic Federation Northern California Golf Championships and qualified for the upcoming state tournament. Chindavong opened play at the Berkeley Country Club in El Cerrito with a pair of birdies on the par-4 first hole and the par-3 second. She had a triple-bogey 7 on the par-4 third before recovering nicely by playing the final six holes on the front side in 1-over-par.
