A winter storm that brought heavy rains and strong winds on Tuesday, Nov. 8, was expected to move on from Southern California by late Wednesday morning — making way for a gradual warm up and drier weather moving toward the weekend. National Weather Service forecasters said chances of light, scattered showers would remain until 10 a.m. with scattered clouds and sunshine in the afternoon — though temperatures will remain chilly. High temperatures will be in the upper-50s to mid-60s throughout Southern California, meteorologists said.
