Jun. 13—Brian Tabatabai, who represents West Covina's District 1 on the City Council, was appointed to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee. Load Error The panel administers federal and state low-Income housing tax credit programs. The programs were created to promote private investment in affordable rental housing for low-income Californians. "The crisis we face with the lack of affordable housing has repercussions for the health and education of our children, the environment, and our overall quality of life," Tabatabai said in a statement.
